This piece of software is used for the purpose of sending and receiving SMS messages
via ViaNett gateways. Technical users may find ViaNett ActiveX - DLL components
coupled with some Visual Basic 6.0 example codes.
Requirements
- ViaNett SMS username and account. Please contact the Customer Services
if you don't have one.
- Destination host: cpa.vianett.no
- Destination port: 31337, 31338 or 31339.
- Download Winsock and the SMS client software.
How to Start
Technical users are advised to take the following steps:
- Make sure the Winsock is installed correctly.
- Copy the DLL files into the system32 catalog
- Register the ViaNett_SMSClient.dll file with this command: REGSVR32
ViaNett_SMSClient.dll
- Start testing with the "Simple Example, with form"
- If there are problems with the DLL, check references under the Project
menu.
